Welcome to East Hickory Church, we are honored that you would take a few moments to see what we are all about. Our website is designed with you in mind. Our hope is that it gives you everything you need to know before visiting EHC. If you have questions or would like to meet with the pastor before a service just email us and we can set that up.

You may wonder
how do people dress?
Everyone is encouraged to come in whatever attire they feel most comfortable. For a few that will mean slacks and a tie, for most it means jeans and a polo. You will typically find our Pastor, Mark Schmitz, preaching in jeans and a button-down shirt. We hope you’ll feel right at home no matter what you wear.

what is the music like?"

The majority of our worship would be classified as a contemporary (Hillsong, Chris Tomlin, David Crowder, Phil Wickham etc.), but we still love the theological depth and poetic beauty contained in hymns.

Our Children’s Ministry is saturated with loving and caring teachers who engage and encourage children. Fun and truthful Bible lessons are taught during the church worship hour for birth – kindergarten.
